Japanese Type 44 Carbine
See pictures below
This listing is for a Japanese Type 44 Carbine.
Adopted by the Japanese in 1911, the type 44 actually is a modified version of the type 38 carbine.
The main difference is the 15 3/4" folding bayonet that is permanently affixed to the type 44 and the hooked quillion.
Mine is an early version as is shown by the close set screws holding the bayonet housing.

First born children and wives are not accepted, I have enough of them. ;-0
I am not a dealer. I am just a retired fellow whose retirement plan did not meet it's promises, so my collection must go to pay bills.
Stop back from time to time because the list will change as I have time.
I will be listing till everything is sold.
OK, here's the fine print...It's
an old gun. I will not warranty that it is safe to shoot. As with any used
weapon, one must have it checked by a gunsmith prior to firing.
